About — DVD
I’m DVD, also known as Daan van Dam, a Creative Director currently at We Are Pi. My background is in art direction and design with a drive for relevant and radical visual storytelling across all mediums and formats.
Prior to We Are Pi, I was a Creative Director at R/GA Portland on the Nike Global account. I set up and ran R/GA PDX’ design studio consisting of art directors, writers, strategists and (experience) designers who closely collaborated with our clients from concept to execution on various editorial and experiencial projects.
In my spare time I co-founded One Shot, the Russian roulette of photography. And Block, a fancy Faraday cage funded by T-Mobile.
Long story short
DVD has created films, events, exhibited pieces, products, services, digital experiences, branded content, music videos, media hypes and fully integrated campaigns for various global industry leaders and local brands.
